Gray M.C.A commissioned Lara to create ten original artworks that were inspired by the latest fashion collections for their “Drawing on Style” exhibition held at Gallery 8 in St James, London. The exhibit paid tribute to the exceptional talents of leading fashion artists of the 20th century, including Antonio Lopez, René Gruau, Colin McDowell, and important contemporary fashion illustrators. Additionally, Wallpaper magazine commissioned Lara to create five exclusive drawings for their coverage of the exhibit.
 
“Drawing on Style” premiered during London Fashion Week and was later showcased at the new Gray M.C.A gallery in Bath, the UK’s first permanent independent gallery specialising in original 20th century fashion illustration and artist textiles.
